Good television shows are hard to come by today. When you add the subgenre of reality TV, finding something meaningful and inspiring is almost impossible. However, if you have never heard of the television series The Amazing Race, this is a television series that is worth looking into. If you like competitive sporting shows and shows that have a lot of meaning; you will be intrigued with this show. It is an amazing addition to anyone’s weekly TV schedule.

What Is It About?

This multi-Emmy Award-winning television show puts eleven teams with two members in each in a situation where they walk around the world in various locations for about twenty-five days. The Amazing Race is hosted by Phil Keoghan, who has also been nominated for an Emmy Award. These teams that are pitted against each other are put through a series of tasks and challenges. These can be either physical or mental, but they must be completed to learn of the location of their next challenge.
Teams who fall behind are eliminated as the show progresses while the first team to reach the end of the Amazing Race wins a million US dollars. This makes it a show that will captivate viewers and have them rooting for teams as they are challenged in every humanly possible way. It is easy to get very involved with this show, making it a worthwhile watch.

The Amazing Race Cast:

As of March of two thousand and fifteen, The Amazing Race is on its twenty-sixth season. They have an entirely new cast each season. This season, they began with complete blind dates that were very extreme. This specific season is focused on dating, making this a new experience for The Amazing Race cast, as well as all of the producers and everyone else involved.
Whoever can get past their differences in this season and work together well will be able to hold the one million dollar prize. Being able to work together flawlessly is what will make or break this season for The Amazing Race participants.
In this season, Kurt Jordan Belcher, Laura Pierson, LydaGrawn, Michael Dombrowski, Bergen Olson, AlyDudek, Lebya Simpson, Rochelle Nevedal, Tyler Adams, C.J. Harris, Jeffery Weldon, Jonathan Knight, Jackie Ibarra, Harley Rodriguez, Jeff Magee, Jelani Roy,  Blair Townsend, Hayley Keel, Jenny Wu, Steven Langton,  and Ashley Gordon will be competing for the million dollar prize. Working together will reach an entirely new level in this season as blind dates work to be able to trust each other enough to get them through the many challenges.
